ABOUT SHARPEIRESCUENETWORK.ORG We have owned Shar-pei since late 1991, and rescued our first Pei in 1992. I originally created the site content as a breed education site in 1996, later adding rescue prevention self-services by providing (PAL) private adoption listings in 2002. Over the years, and as more rescue friends got involved in our PAL-Pei Yahoo list, we have slowly broadened the areas covered and expanded the services to become what you see today - a national virtual rescue hub and adoption support group for all Shar-pei in need of rehoming - helping owners directly rehoming their pets, promoting volunteers who have purebreds or mixes they've rescued, or advising humane societies and shelters that are trying to adopt or find rescue for the dogs surrendered to them. We remain dedicated to providing these personal liaison services to meet the changing needs of our rescue's welfare, by providing free advertising opportunities and other social networking promotions to help connect needy pets with interested families. We are a foster home and contacts for the Shar-pei Rescue of VA-NJ for several years.

Domains luv2turn and wissendesigncenter - up until his recent orders to Naples, Italy, my husband, Fred, offered his woodworking skills to create pens and other small wooden gifts to be sold on the internet and at local retail venues to raise the money needed to create the following rescue services / advertising domains. Any further woodworking orders will have to wait until November 2010 when Fred returns, but with the eventual profits we hope to generate, we will continue to grow our advertising and marketing capabilities for the benefit of our listed network members.
