This is a private members only list founded in February 2002 to help improve the needed communications between regional Shar-Pei rescue club leaders and non-partisan rescue friendly individuals within the lower 48 U.S. States. We are working towards our one common goal of happy endings for all adoptable pets by networking the available resources each member's organization has to offer.

As much as we all try to maintain our spirits and a positive attitude within our network, some very important standards and principles have been carved from our years of rescue hardships and experiences. Rescue does not succeed on popularity contests or competition, so moderation of both rescue practices and politics are encouraged. All groups are considered equal and independent within our network. We firmly believe there is no one particularly exclusive / "must do" way to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome an animal; therefore all funding and policies will also continue to be privately processed to ensure freedom of choice for your own conscience and responsibilities to your community.

Our only focus for our network's mission is to offer education towards the responsible pet ownership and rescue of adoptable Chinese Shar-Pei. I am prepared to virtually promote all active volunteers who are willing to put aside their differences to do what they can for the needy animals in their area while maintaining a realistic and viable resource for our community.
