NOVEMBER 2007

MARSHFIELD, MISSOURI

ADOPTED Hank: young maley.

Thanks to Sherris Kitty Rehab for assisting in this dog's adoption.

BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA

ADOPTED I was rescued from the shelter after my owner dumped me there. It isn't my fault ...I'm a really great guy, he just wasn't into having a dog. I had another name before, but since my old owner never spent much time with me, I didn't really even know it was my name! My foster mom gave me a new name that she chose especially for me..."Shing" means vistory in Chinese, for my victory over adversity and getting out of the shelter alive. I like it and I think it fits. I am a very playful guy. I am very strong and playful, and I do know how to sit and shake hands. I'm neutered and ready to go home with an active person or family.

Thanks to Pei People for assisting in this dog's adoption.

MESA, ARIZONA

ADOPTED Jack was recued on his last day at the county shelter. He was scheduled to be put to sleep because of a condition called "cherry eye" which is very easy to correct with minor surgery. He was saved and taken in by a great foster family with other shar peis. Jack likes to swim and loves to play with other dogs. He is great with all people. He'll be good as new after his eye surgery is done! Please consider giving Jack a forever home.

Thanks to Lucky Dog Rescue for assisting in this dog's adoption.

WESTMORELAND, VIRGINIA

ADOPTED: All 6 pups and mom have now been adopted.

Thanks to the Westmoreland County Shelter for assisting in this dog's adoption.

Thanks to the animalFAIR (Foundation for Animals In Risk) for assisting in this dog's adoption.

MESA, ARIZONA

ADOPTED: Bubba aka Taz is a very very cute 8 month old purebred Shar Pei. He is the sweetest dog too. He has a really nice temperament. He loves everyone he meets-- kids, other dogs, anyone. Except cats. He thinks they are chew toys. Bubba loves to play with chew toys and run after tennis balls. He also really enjoys wrestling and running. He is very very affectionate with people, loves to give kisses and will follow you from room to room. He walks very nicely on a leash and really likes to go for walks with you. He will make a fantastic companion!

Thanks to the Lucky Dog Rescue for assisting in this dog's adoption.
