Happy Endings - Success Stories

This network was created to help unify the joint efforts of every Shar-pei rescue, whether group or privately adopted. While some cases may have more difficult challenges or obstacles to report, any and all Shar-pei rescuers are welcome to submit their special stories that have truly made a difference in a dog's or family's life.

JUNE 2007

MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA

ADOPTED - Jin: young male stray. Thanks to Animal Rescue League for getting this dog adopted.

ALTON, ILLINOIS

ADOPTED - Tasha: 1 year old female ID# 211891. Thanks to Hope Animal Rescues for getting this dog adopted.

PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA

ADOPTED Henry has found a loving permanent home with Shar-pei friends, Sandy and John Godwin. They are so happy to have found such a wonderful boy!!

Henry: I'm the most adorable horsecoat male if I do say so myself. Though I'm more traditional looking for a Pei, I am extremely sociable, and will kiss, cuddle, and play with people of any kind. My gentle and sweet demeanor has endeared me to everyone I meet. I love to take daily strolls to check out the neighborhood, like to play with stuffed animals, and eat just about anything. I even like most other own dogs and cats (unless they resemble a squeak toy) but I would also manage as an only pet as well. I am a very devoted companion and love nothing more than to be with people. I will greet any of the family home with the most rousing round of excitement and happiness. I am already neutered, housetrained, and healthy as can be.
