Happy Endings - Success Stories
This network was created to help unify the joint efforts of
every Shar-pei rescue, whether group or privately adopted.
While some cases may have more difficult challenges or obstacles
to report, any and all Shar-pei rescuers are welcome to submit their special stories
that have truly made a difference in a dog's or family's life.

ADOPTED: Marc & Steph are
two sharpei lovebirds wondering side-by-side near the 2
freeway. Hungry, no collar or tags, obviously bred to death, just a strong
love and devotion for one another. They kept walking aimlessly, making sure
not to let the other out of sight, determined they had somewhere to go. As
luck would have it, I was on my way to a dog rescuer wedding when we all knew
this was a rescue meant to be. They are very kind, calm (haven't heard
them bark yet), sociable, and sweet. They love one another greatly and are fine
with other dogs. Marc & Steph are a favorite at the boarding facility they
are staying at until we find them their forever home. They will never
wander the streets, live in a backyard, or be bred again! Fixed, shots and
medical have been provided we are hoping to keep this couple together and have a
happy ending for their loving journey.
Thanks to Pryors Planet for adopting out these dogs.

ADOPTED co-workers in Mesa adopted the two girls.
Sunshine: (pictured left) 5 year old, spayed Shar-pei gal, and I am looking for a new home because my parents have to relocate to China and, sadly, I can’t come with them. I love people am a very laid back and easy-going girl! I am loyal and am also a super watchdog. I’m behind on my shots—only because I am an indoor gal and do not get boarded, and although I’m in need of some daily walks to get my girlish figure back—I am healthy!
Sugar Bear: (pictured right) 7 year old, spayed Shar-pei/German Shepherd gal, and I am looking for a new home because my parents have to relocate to China and, sadly, I can’t come with them. I love people and I love lots of attention…more attention than any other dog! I am very loyal and am a great watchdog. I’m behind on my shots—only because I am an indoor gal and do not get boarded—but I am healthy.
