Happy Endings - Success Stories

This network was created to help unify the joint efforts of every Shar-pei rescue, whether group or privately adopted. While some cases may have more difficult challenges or obstacles to report, any and all Shar-pei rescuers are welcome to submit their special stories that have truly made a difference in a dog's or family's life.

MARCH 2008

MIAMI, FLORIDA

WEST BABYLON, NEW YORK

ADOPTED Winston: 2 year old male ID#91320, food guards. Thanks to Town of Babylon Animal Shelter for assisting in this pet's adoption.

CANTON, OHIO

ADOPTED 7: adult male, found as stray on 2/27/08. Thanks to Stark County Dog Warden Department for assisting in this pet's adoption.

MARYSVILLE, CALIFORNIA

ADOPTED: Fozzie is a 4 year old fawn male (pictured left) and Zoe is a 6 year old cream female (pictured right). Both Zoe and Fozzie are extremely friendly. They love people. Fozzie tends to be a bit timid until he gets to know you. But nonetheless is a sweetheart. Zoe absolutely loves people. She will love on you no matter who you are. They have always been wonderful with people. They are a bit stubborn as shar-peis tend to be. Zoe does not like other dogs or cats. Fozzie is her follower as she is the dominant of the two. Other than that...they are great!! Fozzie and Zoe's owner is expecting her second child and they aren't getting the attention they are used to anymore. They are both altered and up to date on vaccinations.

SIREN, WISCONSIN

ADOPTED Charlie: 2 year old male, shelter claim - possible mix, ID# LFAF-A. Thanks to Lost Found and Fostered for assisting in this pet's adoption.
