She is also potty trained and crate trained and leash trained. She can be shy at first, but her happy personality comes out with people she knows.

Thanks to the Noah's Ark Animal Hospital for adopting out Penelope.

SWANSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA

ADOPTION PENDING: Bella was rescued from a kill shelter when she was very pregnant. Five days later she gave birth to 7 beautiful little boys!!

Thanks to Diamonds in the Ruff Rescue NC for adopting out Bella and her pups.

HOLLY SPRINGS, NORTH CAROLINA

ADOPTED: Waldo is a small 6 year old male, about 44 pounds. He was rescued from a high kill shelter in North Carolina. He apparently has been the victim of an abusive / neglectful owner(s). We have been working hard to break him of his fears, but it will take time, patience and love. Oddly enough his most favorite humans so far are children. He loves them and shows no fear or timid behavior when around them. He has been around ages 6 and under, smallest being 3 months and he is great with them. He also seems to like other dogs (ignores them actually) but will play with our 8-month-old pug pup on occasion.

Thanks to Mid - Atlantic Pug Rescue for adopting out Waldo.

TEXAS CITY, TEXAS

ADOPTED Clumsy: senior male ID#116312. Thanks to Galveston County Animal Shelter/Services for adopting out this dog.

HARRIMAN, TENNESSEE

ADOPTED: Ginger is a 4 year old fawn horsecoat female. Her beloved owner has unfortunately lost her battle with cancer and Ginger is currently living in her old home until a new owner can be found, being taken care of by extended family. She is already spayed, up to date on vaccinations until 3/07, heartworm negative, and on Intercepter preventative. In her current home, Ginger has a doggie door and prefers to be outdoors and/or in a covered porch at night, so she would be best suited for a home in a warmer climate so she can have a similar arrangement if at all possible. She unfortunately does not always like other pets and would most likely prefer to remain a single pet, but with an experienced pack leader, she may tolerate a male dog she can dominate.

HOPKINSVILLE, KENTUCKY

ADOPTED Sweety: 1 year old male mix?, only 30 pounds, had left hip - FHO surgery. Thanks to Humane Society of Christian County Kentucky for adopting out this dog.

RIDGECREST, CALIFORNIA

ADOPTED ID#11,736: young male. Thanks to Ridgecrest Animal Care & Control for adopting out this dog.
