Happy Endings - Success Stories
This network was created to help unify the joint efforts of
every Shar-pei rescue, whether group or privately adopted.
While some cases may have more difficult challenges or obstacles
to report, any and all Shar-pei rescuers are welcome to submit their special stories
that have truly made a difference in a dog's or family's life.

ADOPTION PENDING Ella: 5 year old female. She is the sweetest most lovable dog in the
world. She absolutely adores children, but
generally loves everyone. She would never
offer to bite or harm anyone, you can even
take food out of her mouth without her doing
anything. She is a picky eater, I usually
cook for her, but she will eat some dog
foods. She needs to stay in the house with a
doggie door and have a grassy area for her
bathroom. (she will only go on grass) She does
not like cats and barks at them, but has
never hurt one. She also has a skin allergy and needs regular
baths with medicated shampoo.

ADOPTED Chyna is a beautiful full blooded cream colored Shar Pei. She is 2.5 years old and is looking for a home that knows and loves the breed. She is sweet, good with other dogs and is very easy going. Chyna found herself at the pound as the result of a divorce...how sad is that? After a visit with our Vet it was determined that Chyna has been in pain for over 2 years due to "inverted" eyelashes. We are scheduling her for surgery as soon as she recupertates from her spay surgery. "Inverted" eyelashes is a very painful condition for a dog...just imagine that your eyelashes turned inward to scratch your eyeball everytime you blinked your eyes.
