Mabel: RESCUE PENDING
8-9 year old female that's lost her owner. My 55 year old aunt died suddenly leaving my 84 year old grandmother with three of her dogs, one of them a shar pei named Mabel. Mabel is 8 or 9, in good health, spayed and seems to be well trained (I have spent many hours with her recently while at my grandmother's house and she follows me around, sniffs at me, barks just a bit when there is a knock at the door), but has never spent time with children and seemed a bit skittish when presented with a spirited four year old. We would of course prefer not to bring Mabel to an animal shelter, but any relocation of Mabel needs to happen soon. Any assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
