Roxy: Meet Roxy, one of the newest members of the RASP family.
She was surrendered by her owners because they felt they couldn't keep her any more.
Roxy is 5 years old and previously lived with older children ages 8 or 9 years. Roxy came to us with some bad skin, but being on a premium diet has helped that.
She is calm, potty-trained, and obedient. Roxy would make an excellent companion for just about any household because she listens and obeys commands very willingly.
Please visit Rescue a Shar-pei for more information about adopting Roxy. As of 5/07/08, this rescue group has a total of 2 Shar-pei available for adoption.

Abbey: a friendly, affectionate, happy, delightful and energetic one to two-year-old, 50-pound, female Shar Pei looking for a loving home. Abbey loves people and gets along best with submissive or laid back dogs. She would also do well as the only do in the home. She is very responsive to those who adore her and she wags her tail at just the sight of people. She loves to get close and cuddly to give kisses. Abbey sits on command and is completely housebroken, but still needs training for jumping up on people. She'd be best in a home with a fenced in yard, and with children about eight years old or over. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative and ready to go to a new home where she can get the exercise and training that all young dogs deserve and need. Abbey was originally found as a stray in Michigan and when she wasn't claimed by her original humans, she was taken in by the rescue group We Luv Paws. At the time she was rescued, she had a severe skin allergy probably caused by fleas and poor diet so much of her fur on her face and legs had fallen out. Now, a month later, with a loving foster family, medication and good nutrition, Abbey is looking absolutely beautiful. Special thanks to Petraits Pet Photography for the photos.
Please email Carol or call 773-772-9329 for more information. Abbey's adoption fee of $300 helps support the rescued dogs of the We Luv Paws Rescue Group. Because WLP likes to see the adoptive homes of their dogs, they only adopt to people within a three hour drive of Chicago.
